The Apartment is a sculptural installation that represent the idea of a bachelor suite but is made entirely out of garbage. Each furnishing exists in relation to the others making absurdity out of the sensibility of solo living design.
The installation included a meta-video entitled DADA TV that featured the very TV it was being played on. In the film, an actor enters, sits in the garbage chair and watches TV. The TV displays pictures after picture and each picture fails to capture his attention for more than a second so he constantly changes stations until he becomes so overstimulated, turns off the TV and leaves.
A performace took place where the artist entered the apartment and attempted to get through the TO DO list posted on the wall.  Work has been crossed off without a check so they watch TV and check that box.
